Daté 1876, et signé bas gauche, dans son nouvel encadrement.....Similitude avec le grand père Paton Walter Hugh Paton ( 1826 -1895 ) et ce dernier est daté 1876...Frank Paton ( 1856 - 1901 ) était peintre animalier surtout et son frère Joseph Noël paton ( 1821 - 1901 ) était peintre de genre.
Signed and dated 1876, in a new framing......which Paton did that little masterwork depicting a British garden.It looks a lot like Walter Hugh Paton ( 1826 -1895 ) But you're the expert ! Frank ( 1856 - 1901 ) was an animal painter and his brother Joesph Noel ( 1821 - 1901 ) was a great painter too.
