Alexander ACC/AKA William Hugh Hogg ACC/AKA Dalton

Alexander Hogg ( 1778 – 1824 ) aussi connu comme William Hugh Dalton, était installé au centre ville de Londres au 18ie siècle, il était éditeur de livres de cartes géographiques et autres publications scientifiques. Surtout reconnu comme l’éditeur du journal de James Cooket spécialiste de cartes très détaillées des îles Britaniques. Son atelier incluant l’imprimerie, se situait au 16 King’s arms Paternoster Row , Londres, Angleterre

Based at 16 Paternoster Row London, Alexander Hogg AKA William Hugh Dalton,  was a successful publisher, printer and bookseller in 18th Century. His work included geographical and historical publications. He printed a detailed maps of Brisitsh Isles, but also known to be the printer of the journal of James Cook.The work presented here been done between 1780 and 1783, after a trip in Artic and  Canadian North West territories.
